As you may have noticed in the dojo, Sensei Sandra & I have been trialling some different light weight uniforms in the dojo.  So far we are quite happy with them although they are taking a bit of getting used to as the material is quite different than gis we have worn in the past.

The final events of the in-house tournament are now complete and it was great to see such a good improvement in the standard of competition in these divisions.  I think we’re going to have some really tough divisions at the upcoming Sunshine Coast tournament next month. Congratulations to everyone who stepped up to compete in our in-house tournament last Friday.  Great to see such a high standard in both kata and kumite, also great to see our beginners jumping in to try the kumite tag event.  Due to the large number of entries, the in-house tournament will be continuing this Friday
