February colouring-in competition winner is…. Steven! Congratulations Steven and thanks to all students who participated in this competition.
Congratulations to everyone who stepped up to compete in our in-house tournament last Friday. Great to see such a high standard in both kata and kumite, also great to see our beginners jumping in to try the kumite tag event. Due to the large number of entries, the in-house tournament will be continuing this Friday
Congratulations to all students who successfully graded on the weekend (Sat, 25th February). As always it’s great to see students moving up through the levels. Although it was a small grading this time around, which is not unusual at this time of the year, most of those who stepped up set a particularly high standard this

Congratulations to Viv on a great training journey so far at SCK. It’s been great working with you. I have especially enjoyed the little bit of yoga that you share in class from time to time. Keep up the great work Viv!
Tournaments are a great way to put yourself to the test and grow your skills. This year our local association will be hosting 2 major tournaments open to Chito-Ryu students from throughout QLD and NSW: 2nd April & 11th June. In the lead up to these events we will be running a few smaller in-house events
