Sunshine Coast Karate proudly announces that 15 of its competitors will be representing Australia at the highly anticipated Chito-Ryu Karate World Championships in Japan this August.
After 18 months of intensive training, these skilled athletes are in their final weeks of preparation, aiming to deliver exceptional performances on the global stage.
As a testament to their hard work, dedication, resilience and talent, on Sunday 23rd July, these exceptional athletes will be officially presented with their coveted Australian Team Jackets during a special ceremony.
This honour reflects their exemplary skills and serves as a symbol of their representation of the nation at the prestigious Chito-Ryu Karate World Championships.
Led by experienced coaches and supported by a passionate community, Sunshine Coast Karate anticipates a strong showing at the Karate World Championships alongside other Australian athletes from Gold Coast Chito-Ryu Karate, The Karate Institute Peakhurst and Chito Ryu Karate Blue Mountains.

The Chito-Ryu Karate World Championships will bring together top Chito-Ryu martial artists from around the world providing an opportunity for camaraderie, competition, and cultural exchange.
