At Sunshine Coast Karate, we’ve always believed that the dojo should be an extension of your home.

Since 2000, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with thousands of Sunshine Coast families. In that time, we’ve learned a vital truth: Parenting is a team sport. You work hard at the dinner table to teach respect, you encourage resilience through every scraped knee, and you value the focus your child needs to thrive at school.

Our mission isn’t just to teach karate; it’s to reinforce those very same values in the dojo.

The Term 2 Transition: From Holiday Mode to School Mode

The Easter break is a wonderful time for rest, but for many parents, the transition back into the school routine for Term 2 can be a challenge. The “holiday brain” is real, and the sudden shift back to classroom focus can feel like a shock to the system.

That’s why we’ve designed our Easter School Holiday Trials to be more than just a “boredom buster.”

Why Train as a Family?

This Easter, we’re inviting your whole family into the dojo. Why? Because when a parent and child learn a new skill together, something powerful happens:
