Is Your Child Eligible for the $200 PlayOn Voucher? Here’s How to Use It for Karate

Keeping kids active is one of the best things we can do for their physical and mental health. However, as local families on the Sunshine Coast know, the costs of extracurricular activities can add up quickly.

At Sunshine Coast Karate, we believe every child should have the opportunity to build confidence, discipline, and fitness through martial arts. That’s why we are thrilled to be a registered activity provider for the Queensland Government’s Play On! Sports Vouchers.

If you have a child aged 5 to 17, you could be eligible for a $200 voucher to help cover your karate fees!

What is the Play On! Sports Voucher?

The Play On! program is a Queensland Government initiative designed to provide cost-of-living relief while getting more kids into sport.

  • The Value: $200 per child.
  • Frequency: One voucher per child, per financial year.

How to Use Your Voucher at Sunshine Coast Karate

We’ve made the process as simple as possible for our Maroochydore families:

  1. Apply for your Voucher: Head to the official QLD Government website to apply. You will need your child’s Medicare card details.
  2. Receive your Code: Once approved, you’ll receive a voucher with a unique code.
  3. Redeem with Us: Email your voucher to us or bring a printed copy into the dojo. We will apply the $200 credit directly to your membership or participation fees.

Why Choose Karate for Your Child?

While the $200 saving is a great bonus, the real value lies in what happens on the mat. Our programs are designed to help Sunshine Coast kids thrive:

  • Confidence & Resilience: We teach kids how to set goals and overcome challenges.
  • Focus & Discipline: Skills that translate directly from the dojo to the classroom.
  • Safety & Coordination: Improving physical literacy and self-defense skills in a supportive environment.

Ready to Get Started?

Don’t wait—vouchers are limited and often run out before the official closing date. Apply today and give your child the gift of karate!
