Congratulations to all members who competed at the recent 5th Annual Sunshine Coast Tournament (8 June 2008). This year’s event was well attended with by competitors from all Queensland dojos and the standard was high in all areas, from the organisation of the event to the level of competition.
In April 2008, we were fortunate have special guest instructor Tanaka Sensei visit and teach from the International Chito-Ryu Headquarters in Japan. During his visit to the Sunshine Coast, Tanaka Sensei presented grading certificates for our first home grown black belts: Matthew Stevenson, Rhys Woodhouse, Sam Henderson & Linh Tran.
