If you haven’t already heard, Sensei Martin is off to train in Kumamoto, Japan. He’ll enjoy 3 weeks of training with Soke (Supreme Chito-Ryu Karate-Do Instructor) and Higuchi Sensei (7th dan, Kyoshi). And, he’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy training along side of Australian Chito-Ryu Karate-Do seniors Michael Noonan Renshi (Sydney) and Mark Snow
Last Wednesday, we had a lot of fun in the dojo with the presentation of the giant novelty cheque from Telstra to help pay for the giant fan to go in the dojo. Our karate kids had a lot of fun working with the photographer, Joseph Byford, who did an amazing job with the photos.
Entries are now open for the 2018 QLD Chito-Ryu Karate-Do State Titles. The event will be held on the Sunshine Coast, at Kuluin State School. Sunday, 12th August 2018.
