So incredibly proud of these three
Back in August, after competing at the 15th Soke Cup on the Gold Coast, three of our students stepped up to challenge for their Dan gradings.
They graded in front of Nidaime Soke, Sandaime Soke, Michael Noonan Kyoshi (Australia) and Robert Lee Kyoshi (Canada), and they were all successful.
Between them, that’s more than 40 years in the dojo.
We’ve been lucky enough to share this journey with all three since they were very little. Back then it was sack races, lolly prizes and tiny white belts.
Now they’re the ones standing in front of the class and setting the example for our younger students. We’re so grateful to have watched them grow up here on the coast.
Bailey, Sami and Flynn, no matter where life takes you, we hope you always know you can do anything you put your mind to. You are all exceptional, and we couldn’t be prouder.
