These terms apply when you use sunshinecoastkarate.com.au, and when you book a free trial lesson through it. By using the site, you agree to them.

1. About us

This website is run by Sunshine Coast Karate, a Karate4Life & Chito-Ryu dojo at 2/14 Depot St, Maroochydore QLD (access via Progress Road). Phone 0435 255 323.

2. Free trial lessons

• Your first lesson is free. There’s no obligation to join afterwards.
• A booking is a request. We’ll be in touch within 2 business days to confirm your class. It’s booked once we’ve confirmed it.
• If you book for someone else, such as your children or another adult, please make sure you’re able to share their details with us. Children need a parent or carer to book for them.
• Offers shown on the site (such as the joining fee waived and a free uniform when you join on the day) apply as described on the page at the time, and may end or change.

3. Timetable and information

We keep class times, programs and other details on this site up to date, but they can change: for example over school holidays and public holidays. If something matters to you, call us to check. The timetable is the best place to see what’s on.

4. Training safely

Karate is a physical activity. Please tell your instructor before class about any injury, health condition or anything else that might affect how you train, and follow your instructor’s directions on the mat. We teach with no full contact in trial lessons, and adapt classes to each student, but you take part at your own risk, except where the law says otherwise.

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.

5. Using this website

• The website is provided “as is”, and you use it at your own risk. We work to keep it accurate and available, but can’t promise it will always be error-free or online.
• Articles and videos on the site are general information about karate, training and parenting, not personal medical or professional advice.
• Links to other websites are there to help. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for them.

6. Our content

The words, photos, videos and logos on this site belong to Sunshine Coast Karate or are used with permission. Please don’t copy them for commercial use without asking us. You’re welcome to share links to our pages.

7. Your privacy

How we handle your details is set out in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
