Karate Kids Climbing Their Mountains:

Together, they are turning up and supporting each other by being the best they can be at that very moment. In being their best selves in that very moment they are also helping others.

It’s been a huge year for all of our karate kids in the dojo and we are proud of all of them. As we all continue to improve our technique and ourselves it’s wonderful to see these kids stepping up to help each other.

The path to black belt may be simple, but it’s definitely not easy and it takes a very special person to keep going even when they can’t see progress.

In these photos, some kids are at the peak of their mountain, others are climbing down their mountain in pursuit of their next mountain and others are at various stages of the climb of their next mountain.

Together, they are turning up and supporting each other by being the best they can be in that very moment. In being their best selves in that very moment they are also helping others.

When you don’t have the strength to turn up for yourself and you notice that you are wanting to give up on your goals, distract yourself by taking the focus off yourself.

Ask yourself, how can I help someone else and turn up and do your best to help them. In the pursuit of helping others, you’ll find the answers you need to conquer your mountain.

“Everyone wants to live on top of the mountains, but all the happiness and growth occurs while climbing it.”
~ Andy Rooney
