Once upon a time, Sensei Sami and “Little Bailey” were actually little. 🥋
(Bailey is now taller than me!) They tied their first belts and wobbled through their first kata right here in our dojo.
Now they’ve finished school and stepped into the workplace. And they’re still here, juggling work and life, and inspiring everyone around them.
The best part isn’t the belts or the medals. It’s the people they’ve become: generous with what they know, and always there for their training partners.
And one day, I’d love to see Bailey and his Dad, Brett, put on their black belts together. And once they do, we know someone else who’d look great in a gi… we’re looking at you, Karen! 😉
Every black belt started as a white belt who kept going. The little one in your life might be next. Sometimes all it takes is someone believing in them first. 🧡
