Some photos say it all. 🧡
This one was taken after class as we celebrated Steven’s 13 years of training. Look at everyone gathered around him: big smiles, a thumbs up, a finger pointing his way, and hands in the air. That’s what our dojo is all about.

Steven has grown up in the dojo. As our son, he spent years on the sidelines, watching, copying and joining in whenever he could, long before he officially started training 13 years ago. The dojo has always been his second home, and our SCK family has always been his family.
Karate has never been about being perfect. It’s about turning up, having a go, and backing yourself, even on the days that feel hard. Steven, you’ve kept showing up, year after year, and that takes real strength. We’re so proud of you, exactly as you are.
And the best part? He didn’t celebrate alone. Training partners old and new came together to share his moment, because in our dojo, every milestone belongs to all of us.
A special shout-out to Jedda too!
It’s so good to have you back in the dojo after your time off with an injury. We’ve missed your energy, and we can’t wait to see you keep moving towards black belt and beyond.
Every black belt started as a white belt who kept going, with good people beside them. If you’d like to be part of it, you’re welcome to come along and try a class. 🧡
It’s more than just kicking and punching.
